Commitment

Commitment is not easy.

Making marriage work is a daily battle. Raising kids is a non-stop job. Your job demands your time and your focus.

But, what does life-long commitment look like? We’re born as children of God, are baptized in the Holy Spirit and serve Jesus throughout our life.

He is always there.

He is committed.

He is all-in.

His commitment is solid.

His commitment is steadfast.

His commitment is not just for this life but the next.

What would it look like if we were that committed to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit?  Would it change who we are? Would it change what we do? Would it change the outcome of our lives?

We cannot dedicate our lives to Christ and not be changed. That type of commitment makes us different from the inside out. It is the one commitment that can give us love that is other-worldly, unconditional belonging, hope for tomorrow. It is the commitment that matters most.

Without it, does the rest matter?
